Investment Committee members Kurt Overley, Mark Walker and Kris Chikelue are responsible for implementing all aspects of Ranger’s investment process. The Committee meets formally each week to determine portfolio management decisions and informally on an ongoing basis to coordinate due diligence, risk management and monitoring activities. The Committee members seek consensus in the decision making process. Absent consensus, the Investment Committee Co-Chairmen have ultimate decision-making authority.
Kurt Overley, Co-Chairman of the Investment Committee, actively manages and supervises all portfolio management functions and execution of the investment process.
Mark Walker, Co-Chairman of the Investment Committe, actively manages and supervises all portfolio management functions and execution of the investment process.
Kris Chikelue, Analyst, serves as a member of the Investment Committee and is responsible for evaluating and monitoring hedge fund managers and strategies. Mr. Chikelue also contributes to all aspects of executing Ranger’s investment process.
Nim Hacker, Ranger’s in-house counsel, evaluates fund offering documents for each investment under consideration. Mr. Hacker works with the Team on all legal issues involving the Fund, investment managers and service providers.
